Smile Newbie in Hong Kong

Hey everyone,

I am a Canadian living in Hong Kong, I have just recently moved into a new house. the previous owner was an Orchid collector but because she was moving overseas she only got paperwork to import her most valuable orchids and left the rest here. I now have 40 orchids and I have never even owned one before. I think alot need some desperate care as there were a few weeks that the house was empty.

My plan is to identify them all and learn how to take care of them all. I am hoping you guys can help. I put some first photos up in the identifying forum.

I look forward to learning from everyone here and sharing my new inheritance.

Jen

Hi Jen and welcome to Orchid Board

You've been thrown in the deep end going from 0 to 40 in one go. I hope you will really enjoy them, this is a great place to ask any questions you have, and even if we can't give exact ID's someone should be able to get close enough for knowing how to care for them.
