Default Another new Central Florida poster

Hi to all!
I'm Terry and I live in the Central Florida area too. The Casselberry/Winter Park area. I've had orchids for about 4 years now. I don't count mine... My main growing area is on the west side of my small townhome back yard. I attached shade cloth to my privacy fence and have metal commercial racks along with an area for hangers. My back porch holds my not-fond-of-cool-temps orchids when the temps get below 55. I have all kinds of orchids, I like to try them all and have had pretty good luck. I am fond of species, and grow everything in wooden baskets with different kinds of media mixes.
I'll keep lurking at least and will enjoy reading and viewing photo of everyones beautiful orchids. Happy New Year too!

Hi Terry! We're practically neighbors Another of our friends (and moderator ) is Justatypn and she's in Casselberry!!!

Happy to have you with us...I like the idea of no longer counting them Once I hit 150 (which won't be long) I'm no longer counting them either!

Please enjoy the forums, galleries and chat room along with us. Lurking is okay but it's much nicer to interact with the folks here

Hope to see you around the board

Aboard Terry, its nice to have a neighbor here on the board. We are growing in leaps and bounds and a great place to hang out. The OB is full of information with many different enviroments from greenhouses to indoor growing and viv's (frog's too) Sounds like you have a great selection of orchids. Do share your s in our gallery.

I live off Redbug/Eagle Circle, thinking its not to far from you and am an indoor hobbist, living in a condo limits me, but ya do what ya gotta do when it comes to an addiction. It's great to have you here at the OB...

Welcome to the Orchid Board Terry! I can't believe anyone stopped counting their orchids. Then again, I still have so few.
