To start - you can scroll all the way down the page of this link to United Kingdom Sources - it lists orchid vendors in the UK - The Orchid Mall - Plant Sources
I am sure some of our UK members can make additional suggestions
There is also a Vendor Feedback Forum you can check out - http://www.orchidboard.com/community/vendor-feedback/
Here is the European Orchid Search Engine - Orchid Vendors in the European Union from this sticky thread - Custom Orchid Searches

Do you guys have big box store in the UK? you could try to look at the supermarkets to see if they sell live orchid. Btw, www.orchidweb.com sells a veriety of plants of high quality and can be shipped outside the US. You should check them out.

Hi.
I'm from Manchester... but live in London now.
I get quite a lot of orchid's from Ebay, there's a few good UK sellers.
Phalaenopsis (moth orchids), i usually pick them up from florists and a good thing to do is keep an eye out for them when they are reaching the end of their shelf life in supermarkets (sainsburys) as they cut the price down to about a fiver.
It's a shame i didn't join a couple weeks back as Lidl had some Dendrobiums, Miltoniopsis, Phal's and Odontoglossums in for 4.99 each.
Definatly look around though.
