Hi-from an orchid newbie in NoVA - Orchid Board

It's been about 8 months since I purchased my first orchid , a paph. 'Macabre Pie' at HD, & since then, I have learned alot, & purchased quite a few more orchids. I live in NoVA, near Mt. Vernon, with a couple of kids & several pets, a fairly large yard (new to me, we moved in in July 2004)& a rapidly growing collection of orchids. I have a sunroom at the back of the house, unheated, that I'm setting up with supplemental lighting. I've learned so much from online sources, & I'm grateful for all the information that has been passed on...Hi to Littlefrog, who I know from the Slipper Orchid Forum (& who has lovely plants!, I got a paph. Hennisianum from him)...I look forward to sharing orchid info with everyone...Linda

Welcome to the board. I love the name.
I dont know much about orchids, but I new alot less before I joined up here. So I know you will like it here. Hope you have lots of fun, Marty, Ray and the rest, (sorry can't remember the rest right now) are really great.
