Default Greetings from Belgium

My name is Saskia and i live in Belgium. I'm trying to do my very best to write here in my best English so don't shoot me if i make a lot of mistakes

I have been reading here for a few times and decided to introduce myself. Thumbs up for this forum, there is so much good information here!

It all started about two years ago when i got my first phalaenopsis from my grandmother. Soon the flowers fell off so i bought myself another one. This plant acted the same way. I was a bit disappointed so i putted them aside and didn't take much care for them anymore. They did nothing for about a year ago, when i started to water them more and putted them on a much lighter place. One of them got a spike and because of that, i began to do research on orchids and it became some kind of obsession

Now, a small year later, i'm owning 26 orchid, from witch are 19 phalaenopsis, 3 dendrobium, 2 paphilopedilum, 1 cycnoches peruviana, and 1 odontoglossum.

I don't have a green house, i all have them inside my living room, and they are alle doing well!
I still have to learn alot, but that wil turn out fine now i know this place!!

Welcome aboard, Saskia. Sounds like you've got the fever bad, just like the rest of us. Ask any questions you may have, someone here will have an answer. Most of all, have fun. And your English is just fine.

Welcome! Tuvoc is right, your English is just fine. We are happy that you found us!

One of my favorite things about this forum is the international membership. Living in a small town, I don't get too many opportunities to chat with people from Belgium, France, Brazil, Australia, and Viet Nam all in one day. I look forward to learning about your growing style and challenges you face in your part of the world.
