Default Hello from Toronto
Hello all,

I am very excited to have found this message board through the SOOS site! I own 4.5 orchids (3 phalaenopsis and 1.5 oncidium). Phalaenopsis is my favourite. I have a white one for 4 years now. It hasn't bloomed since I first got it...I got a yellow one with pink centers as a gift 3 years ago. This one is blooming for me for the second time now!

Last year I went to the SOOS show and bought a baby Brother Rush Sogo (my Avatar). It only had one bloom and I am patiently waiting for it to bloom again. My latest acquistion is an oncidium Aloha Sunshine 'Black Hole'. Unfortunately, it is not doing so well (see the 'Pests & Disease' forum). Lastly, I refer to my partner's Mtssa. Dark star 'Darth Vader' (Mtssa. olmec X Milt. Anne Warne) as my 0.5 orchid. It's first bloom opened this morning! Well, that's my story. Happy growing everyone!
