Yes- it is awful hot here- 100 degrees!! It's ok when not humid!
Irphrog- thanks for the sites- it gives better info for here!
I took my plant to an Orchid/Violet nursery, they looked at it and think it has a fungus, but with spray will be able to be saved. Got spray right away- cut the leaves off that were affected. In this area, with the plant outside they recommended watering every mornig, as it is on a bark. When I felt it the morning after I watered it was indeed very dry. The bottom roots are plumper now, but not 'greenish'- just light grey'silver.
I am keeping my fingers crossed!
