Well, both, if you will indulge me. I have access to an autoclave and the first time I plated, I borrowed the autoclave, supplied my own media and used the laminar flow hood in the lab. I transfered the seedlings from plate to flask and waited too long to unflask them and they molded. Recently, I tried using a pressure cooker to sterilize the media and jars, but since I don't have a laminar flow hood or glove box at home, I managed, despite my intentions, to contaminate the plates. So, I grew yet another interesting mold culture quite successfullly!  Tell me about your deflasking technique, if you would? I have a pod on my B. nodosa that is just volunteering for another attempt!
