Exclamation Papua New Guinea Pink Orchid?

Hello I came across this orchid and it seems similar to a picture of a pink orchid in Papua New Guinea on the net, I posted the same question on the wrong forum please help me out ID it, I noticed what could be a couple keikis that I'd like to pot separately, please advise on the species so I can provide proper care, thank you

It's an Epidendrum (reed stemmed) but I am unsure exactly which one. It appears similar to this one which is Epidendrum obrienianum photographed on the Big Isalnd of Hawaii. If it is the same one, they Keiki freely and spread invasively.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Where are you located? I might be interested in buying a keiki from you if you care to sell one.

I guess that could be done. I'm located in San Diego CA, I would only need to harvest the keikis and get a little guidance on how to ship them

Royal You are soooo cute!

Just to follow up on my keiki situation, since this orchid seems to like sunny and relatively dry conditions would you advise me to mount it instead of planting it?

If so, I have a tropical plant with somewhat of a thick and smooth trunk, do you think the orchid would be happy if I mount it on it?

Please advise, thank you

I would advise to send me a keiki as well!

They don't like to dry out between waterings, and they like higher humidity 50-70% with a minimum night temp of 60F... so if you can provide that while mounted to a tree, I don't see why not?

I think that would look really cool. Maybe put some moss around the roots so they don't dry out.
