It could just as easily be Aliceara (Beallara) Snowblind as Tropic Lily.

A wealth of information. More confused now. I bought what I thought was a dendrobium nobile or least that is what the tag on the orchid said. Trader Joe's . I'm a proud new mom who takes pictures and post my New orchid. Turns out the tag was in error. My very useful feedback tells me it's a zygopetalum. While on a "different website" I was told it was an oncidium I'm now clueless on exactly what kind I have. I just want my New orchid to be happy and thrive. I have 3 other ochids (phals) which are thriving. Perhaps I should've stayed with what I'm familiar with. I appreciate and thank you for any advice.

Your previous photos here, to my recollection, only showed the flowers and leaves. Those look like Zygopetalum hybrids. This one shows pseudobulbs, too, which do look more like pseudobulbs of Oncidiums rather than Zygos.

These groups of orchids are related to each other. Usually Zygos have much wider leaves, like yours.

Could you take an in-focus face-on photo of a single flower? I can't tell whether your lens is dusty or my phone screen isn't displaying your photos well. Your camera is focusing on things in the background, not so much your plant. Set the plant so the flowers are right against a wall, touching the wall. If your camera has a setting to focus on what is right in the center, use that.

Now I'm confused. Isn't there another thread on this Zygo? The OP has a Bellarea, the pictures above are a Zygo. This is why we keep threads in specific forums.
