Hello,

Ill would really apreaciate if anyone could give a clue on what type of plant we now have,

I have a similar Maxillaria, more of a cream color, less pink. It was a whim purchase a few years back, so I don't know much about them; however, yours looks like Maxillaria to me, including leaves.

Looks to me a lot like Masdevallia floribunda or similar plant ("tails" are a bit short for floribunda but color and size look similar). Not at all like a Maxillaria.

I agree that it's a Masdevallia. Both the bloom and what can be seen of the leaves look like Masdevallia, and not at all like a Maxillaria.
