Welcome to the Orchid Board!

That is a really nice Vanda hybrid. The form and color are excellent. The problem is, there are so many orchid hybrids, many very similar to each other, there is no way of telling what the name is.

Most of us have un-named orchids in our collections because they are so beautiful.

If you bought it recently, there is a chance the store can put you in touch with the wholesaler they bought it from. You may be able to trace ownership back to the original grower. The grower might be able to give you a name.

The identification is pretty hard with these orchids because they have been crossed and crossed and crossed... (Well maybe not that many crosses) and hybrids look similar.

As long as you know how to take care of it, you probably wont need identification but it is always nice to know what you have.

Also, that is a glorious vanda! I love the maroon in the center of the petals and the pink outline! Where did you get it?
