Hello, Like 2 month ago I received this plant division, it looked like cattleya and it was given to me like so. It came with a new growth that seemed to be immature I repotted it right away in a standard cattleya mix, about a week later the new growth doubled in size and started to show what I thought was a second leaf because the plant is bifoliate but it turned to be a sheath that mature and today bloomed. So please I would love to properly Id this plant here are some pictures

You will not be able to get an accurate identification from a photo. As with all such 'no identification' ("NOID") plants, just enjoy it. I have a few NOID plants and I just enjoy the show when they bloom.

Welcome to the Orchid Board!

Orchid hybrids are so variable from seed there is no way to tell what something is without a label. If the person who gave it to you really doesn't know what it is, there is no way to tell for sure.

It looks a lot like it has a lot of brassavola nodosa in it.

Its a Brassavola nodosa hybrid, but what other species are present is impossible to say. It reminds me of Brassocatanthe Roman Holiday: Flickr: Page Not Found

It also reminds me of some clones of BC. Richard Mueller, which was a highly variable cross. It is also similar to clones of BC. Yellow Bird. But this is only wild guesswork at best. You won't likely ever pin it down accurately.

If there was a Roman Holiday Alba, I'd say it was darned close. The problem is that all the spots are at the back of the lip like that. Maybe this is a weird alba mutation?
