Default got this guy from a dealer with a label but don't know what it is.

got this guy at orchid show at a discount because it was such a little guy. it only has one leaf and short roots. but I Have the tag that was in his pot. it has a yellow flower too Guess. the dealer said not to mount it but it is so small it keeps falling out of the pot. when I mount on wood I put some spag moss around the roots so it stays wet a few days not bare root. he said when you water it don't dunk it but pour water through it.

It is a hybrid of D. aphrodite x capillipes. Other relatives are D. aggregatum, D. harveyi and D. jenkinsii. This kind of Dendrobium is accustomed to being very wet during warm weather. It is easy to let them dry out too much and kill the new growth.

This is especially true for a very small plant. If you've mounted this tiny plant, don't let it dry out during the growing season.

It may still be too small to bloom next winter, so don't keep it too dry, and harm it. It is better to water it once a week through the winter, and keep it alive, until it's big enough to flower.
