P Sogo Champion x Leopard Prince? Male
Default P Sogo Champion x Leopard Prince?

A friend gave this to me a few years ago. The grower tentatively identified it as P Sogo Champion x Leopard Prince. It doesn't look much like any picture I can find of that grex, but it also had a nasty color break. The plant looks very healthy otherwise and was free of color break the last time it bloomed. Any clue as to proper ID?

Phal Sogo Champion x Phal Leopard Prince is registered as Phal Sogo Passat. This doesn't look exactly like the couple pictures of that grex I can find, but given the extremely diverse background (at least 14 species) and long breeding history behind it (at least 10 generations) I think this appearance is believable. But that also means there are hundreds of registered and unregistered crosses that could also look much like this. Unless you think you can believe the grower's identification it can only be considered a NoID with a very big question mark after any tentative name.

But it could be quite spectacular on a good blooming.
