Default Pleated foliage, purple flowers

This didn't have a label on it and I don't have the faintest clue what it is. I normally wouldn't buy an orchid without knowing at least something about it but it was $3.50...so I bought two. If I could get even a genus on it, I'd be so thrilled.

The scientific name is Quetiepie adoribilicus. Whatever it is, I love it.

It is Spathoglottis. With this combination of colors it is probably a hybrid, 100+ registered and certainly many unregistered as it is a common landscape plant in tropical and semi-tropical areas and can be found as a naturalized weed in many areas outside its native range. As with many hybrids, a positive ID is very unlikely, but knowing the genus is enough to find care instructions.
