I'm an orchid newbie, please identify this for me. I assume it is a dendrobium of some type because of the nose, but the pouch is new to me.

It does look rather like a Dendrobium, tho if there's a pouch, maybe not ...

yep, looks like some kind of dendrobium with faded overdone flowers.

Here is a photo of one that just opened up this morning. I picked it off the stem and put it in a bud vase so I could get a better photo. The colors are a little more intense than the ones I posted first, but still fairly subtle.

I googled "Dendrobium with pouch" and a Garden Web forum citation says it is a Dendrobium moschatum.

Also used the search function here, turned up several posts about Dendrobium moschatum...apparently not allowed to post the link, but you can search for yourself if interested.
