Any idea if this is a Dendrobium?
Hi I got this dendrobium (I think it is) with no roots and sorry looking leaves. I thought it was going to die, but it survied.
Too be honest I didn't even think it was an orchid until the roots came out beacuse of the cane/stem, it is hard and smooth.
Now I am curious as to what it is? to me it looks like a den, but the cane seems diffrerent and it is still producing leaves on the top.
I would like to know at least what the culture might be, so i can look after it.

thanks guys, but any idea if it is a soft or hard cane, cold, intermidiate, or warm den?
Right now it is summer here so it is doing well, under lights but I want to figure out what to do for autum and winter.

It's a hard cane but there3's no way to tell whether it's a warm or cool grower. Here's a link that will give you plenty of information on Dendrobiums:
