Until here, everything was normal. The last photos were taken about 2 weeks ago, but yesterday I found out something that made me wonder: "what is that?":

What are these large green things that are appearing on the spikes? Are they seed capsules? What is the species?

fascinating plant. I haven't a clue what it is, but you are right about the green things - they are seed pods.

I don't know what it is but he's cute as a button! I agree though. The green swollen pods are seed pods. I always cut them off because I don't want the plant putting energy into a seed pod that is of no benefit to the plant or me.
