dendrobium moniliforme variety help. Male
Default dendrobium moniliforme variety help.
Yesterday I went to the orchid show in Philly and I got a few orchids of course. One of them is a Dendrobium moniliforme but I don't know the variety. It has two leaves that have vargatsion to it and in one of them it has a purple dot?? The flower have a lilac scent to them.

I'll get a close up on the vargated leaves. And the purple dot.

Unfortunately, that could be a number of varieties.

Try zipping a note & photo to Alex Challis at New World Orchids; he might be able to point you in the correct direction.
