Thanks for that. Porter is elderly and my daughter failed to take into account my three Labradors when she adopted him. He's terrified of my dogs, so he mostly hangs out in my husband's office and we go visit him and play with him several times a day. He seems really pleased with this arrangement as it's better than the life he had before and thankfully, he does not have access to my orchids in there.

Rosie, thanks for the tip!

It looks like I can grow this in the same light as my higher light phals and water it on the same schedule as my paph. That's perfect! It slides right into my collection nicely... maybe I should get a few more of these.

Thank you for your help everyone!

Edited To Add: I think I have found a name for it. It looks like a Thai vendor sells this as Dendrobium Pretty Doll. Can't find any other information on it though and I have only found four pictures on google under that name.

It's doing just okay. I was told that it was going to grow well in my conditions here, but it's turned out to be way, way too dry. If I don't remember to fill the humidifier, it sulks. If I forget to mist it even once out of the three times a day I mist it, it sulks. My husband and I are going to put together a small terrarium for it so that it can have the humidity it wants and be a tad more forgiving of my humanity. That's actually our project for this week. I saw someone had put together a terrarium out of a lantern from Hobby Lobby. I plan to head there today to choose something for my dracula to grow in.
Hopefully, I can keep it alive that way.
