AFAIK it's not an Oncidium… (no PBs in sight)

And I don't see what it can be either.

this almost looks like a peloric equitant oncidium, if there is such a thing,.. there seems to be oncidium like callousus on the petals as well as the lip...but the leaves seem to long and flexable to be an equitant oncidium. its definately not your run of the mill typical oncidium for sure.

Thanks danjdob!

I searched peloric oncidium and immediately came across a Tolumnia Midas peloric form and I think this is it.

It feels good to know the name and identity of the plants.

Thanks.

cool...yeah i just looked up oncidium midas peloric and that definately seems to be what you got.

yeah...i have so many noids i dont even try to look them up any more....lol most are dendrobium or phalaenopsis hybrids that were rescued from a nieghbor who obviously bought them from home depot and then tried to kill them...lol...not that there is anything wrong with home depot orchids,..except they rarely ever come with an id.

If you search for Tolumnia Midas, I posted a picture of the normal form on 1-31-2012.
