Cut off any mushy or hollow roots and since it is out of pot, I would soak the good ones for an hour or two to re-hydrate. Then pot in some well soaked bark, or coconut husk chunks that are well rinsed or I prefer a mix of sphagnum moss and medium bark. Place in a small pot leaving a few small open areas. Pot should only accommodate the roots and no larger and have very good drainage holes. Roots need air and to almost dry out before watering. I like clear pots as they also photosynthesize but they are not absolutely necessary. Good luck!
