Default not an orchid but i still need an ident.

Hi guys i was wondering if yall could help me out identifying this plant. The asian lady at the nursery said it was called an echofon but i cant find any info on the net about it. Maybe yall can help me out.

not sure what it is. you may want to check with the local cactus and succulent society. one of them might be able to identify it for you.

It is really hard to see the shape of the leaves from your picture, but it might be something from Jatropha family. Maybe Jatropha berlandieri?
