Default Phal. Jiaho's Pink Girl or Phal. Wenlong 'Pink Girl'?

I have two little mini NoID:s that I suspect might be either of these (I know the second one isn't registered), but which one?

And why the Phal. Wenlong 'Pink Girl' when these are (as far as I can tell) identical with Phal. Jiaho's Pink Girl, so why does it even exist on the market?

I guess both of mine are the latter, unregistered version since they were kind of cheap, 9,04 USD/Phal.

They both have very dark foliage with a hint of being mottled.

Here are some pics:

Beautiful! I could be wrong, but I don't believe it is Jiaho's Pink Girl. I have Jiaho's Pink Girl, and the plant and blooms are different from yours.

Some growers do not care for the name of the flower, change them once they buy them, and sell them because they look nice. There are so many that look so similar, that really any NoID is almost always a NoID. It's tough to track the plant all the way back to the source for the correct info. I also don't believe this is Jiaho's Pink Girl.

Thanks for your answers! This is exciting, I've posted the same question on Big Leaf forum and gotten one answer from another Pink Girl owner, that thinks one (or both?) might be Jiaho's Pink Girl. Let's see which side wins!

Just kidding.

Seriously though, I've contacted the vendor to see if I can track down the nursery they come from. I'll let you guys know what both of these are as soon as possible (unfortunately the one responsible for the orchids had left the store for the week, so I'll try again on Monday).

Whatever they are, they're darn cute though (which was why I bought them).

Maybe a better picture of the mini who's spike is in the glass:

Mutant, I agree with Gage, I vote not Dtps. Jaiho's Pink Girl. Here is a shot of mine in bloom, blooms don't look anywhere near the same. Maybe something with the same kind of lineage though. Sorry.

Judi, there's no need to apologize. The reason I think it's a possibility they might be Jiaho's Pink Girl is because of these:

Jiaho's Pink Girl

Jiaho's Pink Girl

Jiaho's Pink Girl

Jiaho's Pink Girl

Jiaho's Pink Girl

This was the photo used at Schwerter which first got me to start wondering

Anyway, let's wait and see if I might be able to get a hold of the nursery first.

And thank you for your responses! They mean a lot even though you don't agree with me.

Your first link is not your flower. 2nd is closer but still probs a no. 3rd is even better but your coloration is much darker (though that could be conditions related). 4th is a no. 5th is a no. The Schwerter is also not that close. But I think all of these pictures show you the variation of what is Jiaho's Pink Girl, and why you may not ever know for sure. It's worth looking, but dont be disconcerted if you can't be sure.

Yup, they wary quite a lot (like all hybrids). I won't be disconcerted if it turns out to be impossible to ID them. I love being right about things, but I can admit when I'm in the wrong too. I'll tell you when/if I find out their ID.

And I still think you guys are great for taking your time and try to reason with this stubborn Swede, you make me happy.

There is a welong pink girl at my Lowes that has slightly mottled leaves that are very dark. The blooms look nothing like yours though. They have more white and less spotting.

Yeah, but it seems those can vary quite a bit too:

Wenlong 'Pink Girl'

Wenlong 'Pink Girl'

Wenlong 'Pink Girl'

This one reminds me about the one with more pink on the flowers that I have. But I still don't understand why such a popular hybrid (as Phal. Wenlong 'Pink Girl' seems to be), is not registered?
