Default Cat. NOID Opens... ID Help?

All -

First, thanks for the help with my questions since my joining a couple months ago. Your thoughts, info and experience have been great helps.

I hope I'm not annoying anyone by putting up as many NOID-for-ID-Help posting as I do. I have a number of them and post them as they bloom.

This is a fragrant Cat that I rescued from an abusive family member.

Anyone have anything like it? Sorry for the somewhat poor photo but nature made the blooms kinda run together and I only have one spike on the plant.

Thanks!

I don't know what it is, but it is beautiful either way!

Cattleyas have been bred so extensively it's hard to ID, and I don't know enough about them to make any attempt. However, I love that!

Hmm, until a catt expert can reply, you may want to try to narrow it down by searching a few orchid nurseries online.
Here are a few that I know have quite a few catts (of course there are many more too, these just came to mind right away when I saw your post).

As slipperfreak mentioned, catt hybrids are so complex, so you'll never know for sure.

Great color and love the yellow eyes in the lip.

Unfortunately, once a NOID, always a NOID.

It is still beautiful to grow though and fragrant too!

It looks very similar to one that I have in my greenhouse. Mine is labeled...
Blc. Memoria Crispin Rosales and it is very stongly scented...

I was able to track this one back to the grower and it is actually = BLC. Mem. Crispin Rosales 'Behold' HCC/AOS X Pot. Hisako Akatsuka 'Volcano Queen' - LauraN, you got me started in the right direction.

I searched on that label and I think it has been registered as Pot. Sedona's Behold (http://sedonaorchids.com/catt.html).

Can anyone confirm that?
