Default Epicattleya? it used to have a tag... sigh

It finally bloomed.. a few years ago i bought a bag baby seedling. an epicattleya it had a tag and a name.. and I thought I kept the correct tag with it. but over the years. something got switched lol.I mounted it on a large piece of wild grape. (my woods abound with mounting materials.. yay!) lol and after 2 years it bloomed for the first time.. and it was not the color the tag said so I know I have the wrong tag on it.. sigh..
now its a nice growing plant.. sword like leaves. almost similar to my b. nodosa. so not sure what is really in this plants woodpile so to speak lol. it does have a scent.. reminiscent of carnations-cloves and a touch of apple.
ignore the glass container.. I was soaking its roots lol

DEFINITELY has Brassavola nodosa in it's background !! Shape of lip and skinny sepals and petals, probably one of the parents ! Not Epicatt, Bc. or Bl. (old intergeneric names).

Wonderful color, nice growing job !!!

It is a very pretty flower but it doesn't look like an epi to me. I agree with Rob that it has Brassavola in it.
