as much as i analyze your pics, my mind instantly goes to something in the citrus family. however the flowers, or at least what i can tell by the pictures, hang down like bells and are in clusters.....when i see citrus here, they have open 5petaled flowers with the large pistil in the center, and they have more open clusters. try scratching the curface of the fruit and leaves, and if they give that classic citrusy odor, then its a citrus. (i sound redundant ) maybe you can take a piece to your local extension office (?) and they can help out

I don't think it is citrus, and my reasoning is; the flowers don't have any fragrance, the fruit when opened is all seeds (very flat and small), and it has no citrus odor. I will try to get it to a local extension agency. Will keep you posted.

I have seen this one before. I don't know what it is, but I remember the little yellow fruit being distinctly different from citrus.

ive been google-ing like crazy and, like you, came across this photo of unidentified fruit, so maybe its just some new plant:

also, is that yellow color the ripe color? or do they ripen to red? if they turn red later on and you say the birds love it, then it may be a dahoon holly. does it get alot of the berries, and how many petals do the flowers have thanks. sorry for all the questions, im on a mission

The color you see in the photo is the color when ripe. Kind of a yellow orange. The picture that was posted by Wrebbitrocks looks very similar to what I have, but it is hard to see the leaves so not sure. Though it doesn't say what it is. I have seen dahoon holly, and I know it isn't that, but thanks for the suggestion.

Looking at your last Pic.and the discription of the berries, I am making a wild guess. Could it be some kind of Ficus?
