This orchid is a winter Florida bloomer (photo date Dec. 6th last year) that I hang from a tree in my backyard. This piece broke off of a 16" x 28" plant. Pseudobulbs are about 1-1/2" to 2" tall.
I have no idea what it is so any help is appreciated!
It sure looks like Laelia rubescens 'alba', both the plant and flowers looks characteristic, though the stems of the inflorescences look kind of short. Mildly fragrant, and close a bit at night? (could be Sophronitis now, effing taxonomists!).

Nancy - Could be. The descriptions I find online sound like a match but the pictures don't appear 100 percent on and not exactly as I remember. If memory serves, the flowers themselves are pretty thin and not kinda fleshy like I think of in a Cat, Blc or Laelia - at least the ones I have are. Too bad this picture is the only one I have and a bit blown out by the flash. I may have to wait until it blooms again to get better visuals.
Flowers of L. rubescens are not particularly substantial; they are smallish (1-1/2"), and kind of fragile in texture. Not brawny or meaty the way some Laelias can be.
I did wonder if it might be L rubescens, but L rubescens is 4-7 flowered on a 8-12 inch scape. If you have some old flower stalks, perhaps you might like to measure them.
Nancy is right about the flower texture. The tepals are about as flimsy as orchids come.
