Can't help, sure like the red one, looks like the top half of a flower. Neat! Welcome to the Orchid Board.

The first one does look like it's Onc pusillum. As for the other no clue, but as CTB mentioned it looks like only part of the bloom.

The red most likely Lepanthes but with the Pleurothallidinae it could be something else to.

Hunt, when you post photos taken from internet (which seems to be the case for both) it's good practice post the link to the entire webpage, or at the very least mention the sources of the images. Since you're new here, I thought I'd let you know.

Yes, Oncidium pusillum, also known as Erycina pusilla or Psygmorchis pusilla

And yes, Lepanthes lucifer, which I suppose could be called devil's orchid, but common names are meaningless. There are often dozens of very different orchids that share a common name.

Both pictures are identified correctly in their file names, so why ask at all? A simple internet search would have confirmed either one if there was some question.

There is nothing rude about that.

hunt posted something for nothing and those photos are not even his own photos... For sure that Lepanthes photo belongs to Eric Hunt but I don't think he is Eric Hunt even though his user name is "hunt". The real Eric Hunt sure will know what these two species are.

Its very possible someone messaged hunt the links to the species image and he was not aware how to look at file names or would not recognize such obscure words anyways.

I don't think so... Eric has this picture correctly identified in his own Flicker page since quite a while...

I agree with Tom-DE that the OB "Hunt" is not Eric... and that there was nothing rude on PaphMadMan message (same reasons as Tom's)
