Help with this one!
Heyya all, i need a little of hekp with this one, the seller told me it was a rhyncholaelia... giving him the benefit of doubt, i think obviously not a species, perhaps a cross with cattleya? or a cattleya hybrid?

It looks like a cross of Rhyncholaelia digbyana.
Rhyncholaelia contains only two species, digbyana and glauca, so this is not a pure rhyncholaelia, but its hybrid.

I've never heard of that cross. It looks and sounds really cool. Any fragrance. The color is gorgeous!

Hi, I agree with Pheli. Rhyncholaelia digbyana was Brassavola digbyana and so you should look for a Brassocattleya (Bc.) hybrid.
It can also be a Blc., but less likely, I think.

Definately digbyana is in it's ancestry. Lovely color, nice full round lip and frill.
Do you have a larger picture we can all drool over?

Bigger pic and help
Hello all, i have bigger pics, they are on my gallery so you can check it out, so far, the only thing im sure is that this is a rhyncholaelia x cattleya hybrid, and although i have looked it many times, never found it.
this one has a story, it was one of the very first orchids i acquired along with a masdevalia and a zygopetalum... probably not the best for begginers... i learned the hard way not to overwater after almost killing the masd and this one... finally the cat eat the masdie and this one never put out any roots.. now its just 2 pbīs and one leaf, no roots at all so iīd really appreciate if you could help me with this one on how to get roots, i canīt find any sphag over here, so i put it in S/H but I hope you can give me some ideas on what to do, after all its a really pretty plant.
