Default ID Spider Orchid

This came as a gift from someone. There is no tag of any kind. I don't know anything about spider orchids. So at the very least a genus and some care instructions would be nice.

It's obviously very "heavy" in brassia content, so if you look up Brassia verucosa, that ougth to give you a decent handle on the culture.

FWIW, I find that intermediate temps, bright, indirect sun, and average humidity is fine. I grow all such Oncidiinae intergenerics in semi-hydroponics.

Yes, I agree with Bryan. It's quite a lot like my Miltassia Shelob Red Spider.

ditto for Miltassia - possibly Mtssa Shelob.

Ray's culture advice sounds good - pretty easy, non-fussy growers.

My Miltassia Shelob "Red Spider" looks the same but has a red spotted lip instead of a white spotted lip.

Wow, Thanks everyone. I'm glad to hear that it is an easy grower.
