Default Oncidium or Psychopsis?

I found a listing on the web for a Psychopsis Mendenhall 'Hildos' FCC/AOS. Judging from the photo of it, it is identical to a plant I have labeled Oncidium Mendenhall Hildos without the FCC/AOS designation. What is it, a psychopsis or an oncidium? Is psychopsis a new name for the Oncidia?
Thanks.

It should be called a Psychopsis.

Thanks- orchid naming is awfully complicated already without the orchid gods changing the genus names! Linnaeus would be rolling over in his grave.

Linnaeus did not have the kind of genetic sciences that we have available. When I studied horticulture (ten years ago) we studied many plant species that had been reclassified and renamed. I totally agree it is complicated enough without the changes!
