Default Can it be?

This one was sold as Odontoglossum Golden Sunset. The seller said it was native to Hawaii, and would do well in our warmer climate. I can't find any information on it on the net. I think I'm missing a specific name. The foliage is like an oncidium or a Miltionia.

I think you really forgot the 'grex' name, 'Golden Sunset' in your plant may be the clonal name only; google shows only Oncidium equitant with 'Golden Sunset' 'grex' name. Odontoglossum are orchids endemic in South America Andes, the seller wanted to say (I guess) that this particular hybrid was developed in Hawaii.

Odcdm. Golden Sunset
(Odm. Anneliese Rothenberger x Onc. hastilabium)

Unfortunately, Orchidwiz does not have a picture of this one but the name is listed, with the parentage I've given here.

It's very, very nice

Thanks, everyone for taking an interest in my identity problem, and for helping with the name. I'll write it all down on its page in my orchid notebook, and we'll see if this hybrid becomes popular enough to get more google hits.

Now that you talk about the odontoglossom being native to high altitude Andes, fredrico, I do remember the seller saying something of the sort. I sure hope it thrives here - I don't really consider an orchid mine until I've gotten it to reflower.
