Default NOID cattleya

hi everyone,
as some of you maybe aware, i have got this white catt, and i have been trying to track down its crosses but i have always hit a dead end. all i have in mind is mossaie alba X intermedia alba, but even then i have been told the flaws of my theory. so now that it is in bud, i really hope i can get to know what it is.

Hi Stefan.

Mind if I float something out there? C. undine is mossaie X intermedia (RHS).

And there is an alba form which may be the cross you're thinking of. About half way down this page is a picture of C. undine alba:

A Orquídea - Mário A G Leal :: Exibir tópico - Laelias ou Cattleyas e mais uma

What are the "flaws" in your theory you've been told about? Just curious, as I think you could be right.

Cheers,
Aus.

Hello Stefan,

I reminds me of Cattleya Wendy Patterson.

thank you both for your replies,
aus, the flaws with my theory is that the lip does look like a mossaie, but it is alot less yellow, but the shape is different, however the lip of the intermedia is alot different, and still the shape of the sepals are different. They do loo like that flower, but like trdyl commented, it does look alot like Cattleya Wendy Patterson, so we are no closer to figuring this one out, but hopefully the answer is out there, lol,
thank you both once again.
