Default dendrobiums we got yesterday

8 noID dendrobiums we got yesterday... appreciate IDs, if any.

First 4 are mini ones (or that's how my partner calls them), and the other 4 are regular "big size" dendrobiums.

I can't really help with IDs and it's probably difficult to get acurate ones, but pics 1, 2, 3, 4 and maybe 6, look like they are Dendrobium Phalenopsis type hybrids.

Do you have any pics of the whole plants, it might be easier to identify with that as well.

Ah, but because Den is such a big group of plants there can be significant differences between them. Some hang down and some stand upright, some have the flowers spread up the cane and others have a spike out the top. Sometimes it's difficult to tell from just the flowers.

Anyway, I'm not an expert, I only really recognise Den Phal hybrids and everything else gets lumped in 'others' for me.

One suggestion for the second flower - here's a pic I took earlier today of my Den biggum phalenopsis var bicolour. It's been a bright sunny day here and the colours came out well.

Might be involved in the parentage somewhere in any event.

Cheers,
Aus.
