Default What on earth is this "paph-like" orchid???

Found this orchid at a local shop and brought it home even though it had no lable what so ever, and looked a bit worse for wear. The picture was taken only minutes after we got home (wish now I had taken photos of it in profile as well, as blooming stopped within the week, and you cannot really see it well in this pic). The leaves are exactly like a paph (spots and all) and the flower spike comes out on top exactly like a paph, BUT it doesn't have the "chin" like a paph. I'd sworn it was a paph had it not been for the lack of a "chin". Anyone got an idea?

No idea, but the flower does look like a paph in all other ways doesn't it.

It's definitely a Paph or a Phrag. It's either a mutation or the lip was ripped off. Their are some Phrags that don't have the "jaw", but all of the reproductive organs are looking like a Paph. It looks like it may have some gratrixianum in it IOSPE PHOTOS or maybe even insigne. IOSPE PHOTOS

Yes looks like a paph hybrid. Sometimes cultural conditions will produce a bloom with deformaties. Next bloom will give you a better idea if it's nature or nurture.

Yes, then all is left to making it flower again... hihi. There wasn't anything missing or clearly ripped off as far as I could see.

yes, it's a very oooold hybrid that is as tall s me, it came with an equally sized bug that crushed a window to pieces when it flew into it. Now it's been last spotted by a jumbo jet over the atlantic!

No, seriously: If it indeed is the Paph you think it is (and I hope so because that means I should be able to make it reflower), is there anything in particular way I should care for this one? I'd like to show it that there are people out there that are able to treat it well Or should I just leave it like the other Pahps (who are loving it down in my basement)?
