Very nice plants. We have the first plant and ours is Howeara Lava Burst 'Puanani' AM/AOS. They have very fine roots and ours suffers if it dries out during its growing season. And scale likes it just too well, so I would keep an eye open for them.

The second one looks like an oncidium but I don't know which one. Very pretty though.

Ditto with Barbera Howeara Lava Burst for the first one. The second is more than likely Oncidium Sweet Sugar, a mericlone that is every where

Only thing I can ad to above comments is - you're only 40 posts short of a gold icon!

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Awwww...Pat, I respect your thoughts...come on man Thanks so much for the indentities of these guys. I have put in a phone call to the vendor but it's like pulling teeth getting them to help this time of year, closed for the holidays...how dare them when an addictive orchid lover is in need...Thanks all...

Gonna be running with the gold soon...

They look great! (was the above post to me?) I deleted my post before, as I realized they were already identified, yet forgot to leave my comment...

I agree with the identifications on these; Howeara Lava Burst 'Punami' AM/AOS, and the other does look like Oncidium Sweet Sugar.
