A friend gave me this beauty and I have no idea of her name.
Sorry that the pic is really bad. She took the pic and my baby has no flowers yet.

Hi Wanda,

Your baby looks like she might be a Brassavola Hybrid. The pic is kinda small. Are her leaves long, narrow and succulent like?

I'm sure she's a Brassavola hybrid but that's it. I'll try to get the original pic for you to check. THANKS AGAIN.

It looks very similar to my Ctna. Maui Maid 'December Bride' x B. nodosa, which is blooming right now.....a lot! It just opened two more spikes, as this one finished.

My Ctna. Maui Maid 'December Bride' x B. nodosa gets light like yours when the flower starts to fade. Here's some pics of older and newer flowers....it's quite a difference! This plant was bought at Home Depot, so it's highly commercialized.id-please-2008_10140002.jpgid-please-2008_10140003.jpg
