Default Dtps. 'Irene Dobkins'??? or NOID

I bought this a few days ago from work (walmart) and it was the only kind of orchid with a tag. It reads Dtps. 'Irene Dobkins', but all my searches came up with Asconopsis Irene Dobkins 'Elmhurst' which its definitely not the Asconopsis. I know it could have the wrong tag but there were a few that had the same tag so I figured it might be the real tag and there is still the chance that it is wrong (then what does the real one look like). Here's what mine looks like

Hi.... unfortunately that is not any orchid I know under that name. I know Asconopsis Irene Dobkins.

You can double check for yourself at this site:

Royal Horticultural Society - Plants: The International Orchid Register

It's the RHS website.

A NOID that is slightly peloric .. notice the ruffles and slight coloration of the lip on the right petal ..

There is only one Irene Dobkin registered and it is Asconopsis Irene Dobkin. The image you show is definitely not it.

Hey Tim, I stand corrected! My WalMart did have some very raggidy looking orchids... obviously they don't know how to care for them because they were all dried out and nasty! None in spike....I wish I had know and gone there sooner....maybe I could have found one like yours because it is a real LOOKER! Anymore of them at your store....maybe?
