Saw this orchid at a local Asian market but have no idea what kind this is. Male
Question Saw this orchid at a local Asian market but have no idea what kind this is.

This mature orchid with multiple spike is being sold for 30 dollar in a tiny little floral shop at my local asian market. I really want it but I need to ID it first, I tried to ask the shop keeper but in my native language any "orchid" will just be called "orchid" without any specification lol

nvm I have found it.
it is Dendrobium QF Kainoa
or Atroviolaceum
or Nora Tokunaga

If it doesnt have a tag you may never know for sure what it is.

That said it looks like something very close to Dendrobium Little Norman. At the very least that should give you enough information to figure out how to take care of it.

Yes, it's a Latouria section Den. Warm, moist, bright indirect light all year.

are there purple spots on the BACK of the petals? i think it is either Den Roy tokunuga (with purple spots) or Den Royal wings (without)..treat both and ES said
