I think you're right. It seems to like the basket of sphag it's growing in but all those roots make me have to water it two to three times a week. I was originally watering it only once a week with frequent mistings but the wrinkled leaves on the larger new growth notified me that it needed more. Now I water it whenever it feels almost completely dry.
