Default NoID gift, maybe Neofinetia, pink spots

I was gifted this orchid a year ago without a tag. The gifter could not remember but thought it might be Neofinetia. It does seem to resemble that in some ways, but I'm not convinced. Would love to have a better idea what it is.

It is small, in a 4" pot. The roots reminded me most of my phals, so I've been treating it as such, and it has done quite well. The bloom photo is from last year when I first received it. The flower had a bit of a spur, but not particularly long.

I have a new spike coming along now with a few buds, so I could potentially take more flower pics in a few weeks.

Definitely some kind of vandaceous thing, looks like an intergeneric, maybe Vanda (syn. Neofinetia) falcata × Renanthera of some kind?

I agree with intergeneric, maybe Renanthera and/or Arachnis.

Intergeneric: YES. I see:
  • Neofinetia falcata
  • Possibly Renanthera (spots + long branching spike)
  • Possibly Paraphalaenopsis (flower shape)

I have never encountered that combination though. White flower with spots could hint at Rhy. gigantea, but the foliage shows no hint of Rhy.

What state? Does the benevolent one recall where it was purchased? This is not likely a hybrid seen often at all.

It was purchased somewhere around Baltimore, Maryland.
For what it's worth, I did some googling based on the suggestions and found the below pic, which is pretty darn similar aside from the color. It's listed as Renanthera monachica x Neofinetia falcata. We'll never know for sure, of course, but I thought it was interesting!
