Green Bonatea

Hello.
I have this orchid I was never able to identify after much time, checked various places!
I think it belongs to the bonatea family, that's as much as I was able to identify, but I believe I could be wrong too.
Here is a picture:


I hope I can finally give her a name!

It is definitely in the Subtribe Orchidinae. I looked at the Bonatea species and didn't find any matches though, I would guess this is a Habenaria sp. I will do a bit more research and see if I can narrow it down a bit more.

Do you happen to know where it came from? Sometimes it is possible to track down a species from what vendor sold it.

Hey, thanks for your reply, unfortunately I don't know where it came from!
I'm seriously thinking it's not even a bonatea, however bonatea is the closest match I got, I'll keep searching as well

A bit of a tangent, but if I may ask; How did you acquire this plant?

Could it be some hybrid?

so I have gone through the genus Habenaria a bit more, it seems to be part of the H. macronectar complex, but it is quite difficult to get farther than that.

it is most likely to be H. macronectar itself.

Thanks, I checked the encyclopedia link all week long but found nothing similar, I appreciate you getting that far, it's more than I thought I'd get and definitely more than I achieved so far!

I don't believe it's a hybrid, it was a present brought by someone that knows me way too well

I think I can put to rest this topic thanks to the valuable information provided by Afid, after all it wasn't a Bonatea but a Habenaria!

I found the following Link, which makes my plant a Habenaria Johannensis.
