Time to play 'Name That Orchid'! I bought this Phalaenopsis the other day at a local nursery. The roots are looking pretty gnarly but otherwise seems in good shape. What is it?

There seems to be some variation among the flowers. When I bought it it had a flower on it which was much stripier than the other flowers that has subsequently dropped off.

BTW now that I have the orchid bug it's been pretty tough from restraining myself from buying all the orchids I can get my hands on.

Yes, you have the "orchid disease" but it's a gentle addiction (except maybe to the bank account)

As far as IDs go, there are so many hybrids that look similar, there is no way of identifying most of them. So this is a NOID Harlequin-type Phalaenopsis. (The term "harlequin" applies to the whole group of Phals with spots, blotches, and other patterns - which can be quite variable on the same plant.) Anyhow, just enjoy!
