With Paphs, I don't think anyone has managed cloning. (If so, it's rare and inefficient, not commercially viable) So any acquisition is either going to be a division(exact genetic twin to the mother plant, likely to be expensive if it's an awarded or otherwise distinguished hybrid), or grown from seed, which will have any possible combination of genes of the parents Siblings from the same seed capsule can be very different, just like two children from the same parents.

White stripes could be guaranteed if the orchid is a clone of a particular cultivar having white stripes on the dorsal.

If generally the results of the cross has white stripes, then that just means the probability of us acquiring a plant from this cross (not a particular specific cultivar) has a good chance of white stripes. But naturally, there can also be chances of no white stripes.

Thank you again for the information. It has been very much appreciated.
