It is safe to assume similar growing requirement with store bought phalaenopsis. Most of these require cooler temperature to induce flowering.

There are other types of phalaenopsis that have different growing requirement. Specifically the novelty type with species that should be kept at 70F or warmer. These plants usually have fragrance - bloom in the summer time. Their blooming are induced by warm temperature, long day. They are happier at 82-85 F with high humidity. If you chill these to 65-68 F in the winter time and their roots are wet, you would risk losing plants very quickly.
