Sticky lumpy bumpy leaves? Male
Default Sticky lumpy bumpy leaves?

Hi guys,

Two of my Phals have sprouted new leaves but both of them are not like the dark green smooth feel of the previous leaves. They are lumpy and kind of Crispy? They don't look dead by any means but also don't look nice like the previous leaves.

Any idea what might cause this?

Couple of pics attached.

Thanks.

Kev.

Insects going after that tender, new growth.

obviously, a sucking insect...and as ray said, that tender growth is appetizing! I would try some insecticidal soap...if it persists get some real insecticide....you can use a soap spray as much as you like, but it will only kill on contact....
