This came from Hausermann's last year. This is the first rebloom for me.

That's a lot of blooms on that spike. Does the variegation run through the whole leaf on this one - it may just been the differences in shade I see?

That's very nice! I do find myself attracted to the Phals with variegated leaves.

Beautiful! I also love the variegated leaves...makes them more interesting when not in spike or bloom.

If it's OK to ask here, is the plastic container to help keep the clay pot on the moist side? I've been trying plastic pots with a surrounding clay pot, also plastic in plastic (had some good results with this), but I haven't tried clay in plastic and I am intrigued! I also have just pots (not in another pot).

No, Once a week, I soak in those containers. I like to get the pots wet too. The other watering I pour through. I just set it in there to get a better angle to take the picture.

Does anybody know whether light intensity affects the degree of variegation in this plant?

I wondered that same thing. Mine has quite a bit of light (for a Phal) and I think it's runty because of that. The plant is small and the scape is short but, it sure is flowering.

I usually just see them with a thin variegated edge - yours seems to have a lot more than that on the larger leaf
