So far, it has produced four inflorescences, 3 of which are maturing 2+ buds. The 4th one already has one flower that has now fully opened and you can see from the picture the second and third buds are not too far behind.

This means that potentially we are going to have quite a few of these fleshy-succulent-like flowers open at once!!!

This orchid is magnificent despite the rather long name. I am just starting to get into complex hybridization of Phals. I like to see what exactly is in the hybrids and do research on the type of environment it could potentially favor without a lot of guesswork (and because I am a huge nerd). I consult Phalaenopsis: A Monograph by Eric A. Christenson.

And what a rabbit-hole this type of research is for this particular orchid! Clearly this is a significantly complex hybrid of many things. My tag states that it is cross of Phal. Gelblieber x Phal. Nobby's Fox.

Phal. Gelblieber = Phal. amboinensis x micholitzii
Phal. Nobby's Fox = Phal. Buena Jewel x Penang Girl
Phal. Buena Jewel = Phal. violacea x Gelblieber
Phal. Penang Girl = Phal. violacea x venosa

It's going to look great if you get several blooms opening at the same time.
